Join us this Thursday, November 3rd, for a special screening of "Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America." The film follows the journey of Moises Serrano, a young activist from North Carolina fighting for rights in the face of oppression stemming from his position as both a gay man and an undocumented immigrant. The film will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, Tiffany Rhynard, and Moises Serrano.
The event will take place in Room 114 of Belk Library at 8 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
