In honor of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies program will host a special talk by Dr. Ann Cahill this Thursday, April 27th. The talk is entitled "Must Survivors of Sexual Violence Disclose Their Assaults? Title IX, Mandatory Reporting, and the Role of the Confidant." Dr. Cahill is a philosophy professor at Elon University.
The talk will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will take place in Room 415, Rough Ridge, in Plemmons Student Union. It is co-sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and Religion, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Department of Cultural, Gender, and Global Studies. Please contact Dr. Kim Q.
